Qibec (pronounce „Quebec“) is a simple educational CPU – not a complete computer – made from discrete transistors. It has only 1 native instruction, working on 1 bit. The full design can be explained and understood in about 5 minutes. All logical sub-blocks are implemented as 12 plug-in modules.
Visitors can start, stop, slow down or speed up a number of example-programs. Program-output is shown on an integrated big 8×8 LED display, and input is obtained from 2 hand-held game-controllers. One of the example-programs is a simple action game, entertaining for both younger and older players.
